A Pay-for-Print (P4P) photo shoot is a type of professional or semi-professional photography arrangement in which models pay the photographer for a photo shoot, typically in exchange for high-quality, edited images that they can use for their portfolios, marketing, or personal use.
Time For Print (TFP)
A Time-for-Print (TFP) photo shoot is a collaborative arrangement between a photographer and a model (and sometimes other creatives like makeup artists or stylists), in which no money is exchanged—instead, everyone contributes their time and skills in exchange for high-quality, edited images for use in their portfolios or self-promotion.
This is a mutual benefit arrangement, commonly used in the modeling, photography, and fashion industries—especially for building or refreshing portfolios, experimenting with new styles, or networking.
